The Alignment Circle
Where the clarity you discover becomes the life you live.
A six-month group coaching experience built on the VIP Framework (Values, Identity and Priorities), designed to help you move from overwhelm and autopilot to calm, confidence and a life that feels unmistakably yours.
Stop drifting through life. Start living by design.
You know you're capable.
You care deeply.
You want to do meaningful work, be present for the people you love, and create a life that feels fulfilling—not just successful.
But somewhere along the way, life has become... noisy.
There are work deadlines to meet, people depending on you, messages to answer, meals to organise, appointments to remember, and a never-ending list of things demanding your attention.
You keep everything moving.
From the outside, it might even look like you're doing a great job.
But inside?
You're tired.
Not just physically tired, but mentally tired.
Tired of carrying the invisible load.
Tired of feeling like you're constantly reacting instead of intentionally choosing.
Tired of wondering where you fit into the picture.
You know something needs to change.
Not because you want a completely different life.
But because you want your life to feel like it's yours again.
The problem isn't that you've failed.
The problem is that life got loud.
Most women don't lose themselves overnight.
It happens one decision at a time.
You say yes because it's easier than disappointing someone.
You put your own needs at the bottom of the list because everyone else feels more urgent.
You become so busy responding to what's in front of you that you stop asking what actually matters.
Before long, you're living according to everyone else's priorities instead of your own.
It's no wonder you feel overwhelmed.
The mental load is relentless.
The expectations are endless.
And even when you do experience a moment of clarity—perhaps after reading a book, attending a workshop, or finally giving yourself permission to pause—real life has a way of pulling you straight back into old patterns.
Not because you're weak.
Not because you lack discipline.
But because lasting change isn't created by one powerful moment.
It's created through small, intentional choices, made consistently over time.
You don't need another productivity system.
You need a better compass.
That's exactly what the VIP Framework was designed to provide.
Welcome to The Alignment Circle
The Alignment Circle is where the work really begins.
It's where clarity becomes action.
Where insight becomes habit.
Where the woman you know you're becoming is gently supported into everyday life.
Built on the foundations of the VIP Framework—Values, Identity and Priorities—the Alignment Circle is a six-month group coaching experience designed to help you stop living on autopilot and start making decisions that reflect what matters most to you.
Together, we'll create the space that so many women never give themselves.
Space to pause.
Space to reflect.
Space to celebrate what's working.
Space to be honest about what's not.
Space to reconnect with yourself before life races ahead again.
Each month you'll join a guided coaching circle where you'll reflect, reconnect with what matters most, and learn alongside a small community of women walking a similar path.
Every session is grounded in the realities of everyday life.
Some months we'll explore themes that are foundational to the VIP Framework, such as building strong foundations for wellbeing, strengthening self-trust, or creating healthy boundaries.
Other conversations will respond to what's happening in the room—because life isn't lived according to a curriculum.
It's lived through changing seasons, unexpected challenges, growing families, evolving careers and courageous decisions.
Between our monthly sessions, you'll have access to a private online community where you can ask questions, celebrate wins, share challenges and stay connected.
You'll also receive reflection prompts, practical tools and VIP worksheets to help you continue putting what you've learned into practice.
Because the goal isn't simply to leave inspired.
It's to keep living with intention long after the motivation fades.
This is not about becoming someone new.
It's about coming home to yourself.
It's about remembering what matters.
Trusting your own decisions.
Protecting your energy without guilt.
Knowing what deserves a wholehearted yes—and what can wait.
It's about getting back in the driver's seat of your own life, and charting a course that reflects your values, your identity and your priorities.
Not someone else's expectations.
Around here, we believe in progress over polish.
We hold ourselves to high standards, without holding ourselves to impossible ones.
We tell the truth about what's hard.
We celebrate every step forward.
And we know that lasting transformation doesn't happen because life suddenly becomes easier.
It happens because, little by little, you become more deeply connected to yourself.
If you've already attended the Design a Life You Love workshop, the Alignment Circle is your next step—a place to keep the momentum going and turn clarity into lasting change.
If you haven't attended a workshop yet, you're still warmly welcome. Before our first coaching circle, you'll receive a short introduction to the VIP Framework so you can begin the journey with confidence, alongside everyone else.

What could be different six months from now?
I can't promise life will become less busy.
There will still be deadlines.
Family commitments.
Unexpected challenges.
And seasons where life asks more of you than you'd planned.
But I do believe something can change.
I believe you can stop feeling like life is happening to you and start feeling like you're intentionally shaping it.
I believe you can reconnect with the woman you're becoming.
I believe you can make decisions with greater confidence instead of second-guessing yourself.
I believe you can protect your energy without feeling guilty.
I believe you can stop carrying every glass and rubber ball as though they're equally important.
And I believe you can experience a calm that doesn't come from having less to do, but from knowing what truly deserves your attention.
By the end of our six months together, my hope is that you'll feel...
-
Calm instead of constantly overwhelmed.
-
Confident in the decisions you make.
-
Clear about what matters most in this season of your life.
-
Connected to your values instead of everyone else's expectations.
-
More trusting of yourself.
-
More intentional with your time and energy.
-
Better able to say no without guilt, and yes with wholehearted enthusiasm.
-
Like you're back in the driver's seat of your own life.
Not because you've become someone new.
But because you've come home to yourself.
Your Six-Month Journey
Transformation doesn't happen in one breakthrough moment.
It happens through consistent reflection, honest conversations, practical action and gentle accountability.
That's why the Alignment Circle is designed as a six-month experience.
Long enough to move through real seasons of life.
Long enough to practise making different choices.
Long enough for new habits and ways of thinking to become part of who you are.
Each month we'll come together for a live guided coaching circle (60–90 minutes), where we'll explore a key theme through the VIP Framework while making space for whatever life is bringing for the women in the room.
This isn't about following a rigid curriculum.
It's about applying timeless principles to real life.
Every cohort is unique, so while each month is grounded in the VIP Framework, the conversations will be shaped by what's happening in the lives of the women in the Circle.
Rather than following a set programme, we'll explore the themes that will have the greatest impact for you, responding to the challenges, questions and opportunities that arise along the way.
Some of the themes we'll likely explore include:
September | Strong Foundations
We'll begin with exploring and unpacking Sir Mason Durie's Te Whare Tapa Whā, creating the foundations that support a thriving life and identifying where you need to nurture yourself first.
October | Trust Yourself
Reconnect with your values, strengths, and experience, building evidence of who you are becoming so you can make decisions with greater confidence and less self-doubt.
November | The Courage to Say No
Learn to set boundaries that honour what matters most, protecting your time, energy and attention without guilt.
December | Navigating the Season You're In
Life changes, and so do your priorities. Together we'll reflect on what this season of your life is asking of you and how to respond with intention rather than obligation.
January | Choosing What Matters Most
Using the VIP Framework, we'll revisit your Values, Identity and Priorities, making sure your everyday decisions continue to reflect the life you're intentionally creating.
February | Living Your Life by Design
We'll celebrate how far you've come, reflect on what you've learned, and create a sustainable way to carry this work forward long after our six months together.
While these themes provide a guiding framework, every Circle evolves in response to the women within it. We'll make space for the conversations that need to happen, because the most meaningful growth often comes from what's happening in your life right now, not from sticking rigidly to a lesson plan.
Each month you'll also receive reflection prompts, practical tools and VIP worksheets to help you integrate what we're exploring together.
Between sessions you'll stay connected through our private online community, where you can ask questions, celebrate wins, seek encouragement and continue the conversation throughout the month.
We'll also have regular Monday and Friday check-ins to help you stay connected to your intentions without adding another overwhelming task to your to-do list.
This isn't about perfect consistency.
It's about creating gentle momentum.
Because around here, we believe in progress over polish.
Is the Alignment Circle for you?
The Alignment Circle is for women who are ready to stop waiting for life to magically slow down before they start living intentionally.
It's for you if...
-
You're tired of feeling like you're constantly reacting instead of choosing.
-
You've lost sight of yourself beneath work, family or everyone else's expectations.
-
You crave calm more than hustle.
-
You've attended a VIP workshop and want the support to keep turning clarity into lasting change, or you're ready to begin with the VIP Framework and commit to doing the work.
-
You know something needs to change, but you're not sure how to make that change last.
-
You want encouragement, accountability and a supportive community, not judgement or pressure.
-
You're ready to make decisions that reflect the life you truly want to build.
The Alignment Circle is probably not for you if...
-
You're looking for a quick fix or overnight transformation.
-
You want someone else to tell you what your life should look like.
-
You're unwilling to reflect honestly or make meaningful changes.
-
You're hoping someone else will do the work for you.
This is a space for women who are willing to show up—with curiosity, courage and compassion for themselves.
A community built on grace, growth and self-trust
The women in the Alignment Circle aren't striving for perfection.
They're choosing intention.
Together we believe...
-
We hold ourselves to high standards, without holding ourselves to impossible ones.
-
Progress matters more than polish.
-
Life is allowed to be hard, and we can be honest about that.
-
We choose hope without pretending everything is easy.
-
Honest conversations create meaningful change.
-
Different seasons require different priorities.
-
Every woman deserves to feel safe, respected and heard.
-
We celebrate one another's progress instead of comparing ourselves.
-
We don't judge.
-
We encourage each other.
-
We don't have to have it all figured out before we begin.
And perhaps most importantly...
We believe the relationship you have with yourself shapes every other part of your life.
This is a space where you'll be encouraged.
Supported.
Challenged when you need it.
Celebrated often.
And reminded, again and again, that the woman you're becoming is already within you.
About Ruth
There was a time when, from the outside, my life looked like it was on the right track.
I had a successful career.
I'd been married for years.
I was deeply involved in my church and doing work I cared about.
But inside, something wasn't sitting right.
Little by little, I'd been making decisions based on who I thought I was supposed to be, rather than who I truly was.
My life was becoming smaller.
When I finally found the courage to leave my marriage, I also began asking much bigger questions.
Who am I when I'm not living according to everyone else's expectations?
What actually matters to me?
What kind of life do I want to create?
Not long afterwards, I left my job and travelled on my own for seven months.
It was one of the hardest and most important seasons of my life.
Without the constant noise and expectations, I slowly began getting to know myself again.
I discovered what I valued.
I learned to trust myself.
I realised that living in alignment isn't about having a perfect life.
It's about making decisions that reflect who you really are.
That journey eventually became the VIP Framework: Values, Identity and Priorities.
Today, alongside my work as a lawyer, writer, and speaker, I help women reconnect with themselves so they can create lives that feel calm, meaningful and authentically their own.
Because I know what it's like to wake up and realise you've been living someone else's version of success.
And I also know what's possible when you choose a different path.
What women are saying
"Working with Ruth gave me a deeper understanding of what I truly want from my career and life. Through the VIP Framework, I gained clarity, confidence and a strong sense of direction. Ruth's thoughtful, supportive approach made the process empowering and energising."
"I was shocked when I identified how my energy was really being spent. That's definitely going to change."
"Realising what my priorities are—and understanding the seasons of life—was a complete shift for me."
"This workshop shines a light on the things you worry about every day and helps you see them differently. Instead of just coping, you begin creating a life that actually feels intentional."
